AWANA
, a leading children’s ministry, has been influencing the spiritual lives of young children for nearly 60 years. The goal of the AWANA program is to help children enter adulthood prepared to know, love and follow Christ for life.

We meet every Sunday evening from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. You can download a calendar of events by clicking here.

RBC offers three clubs:
1. Cubbies for 4 year olds,
2. Sparks for Kindergarten through 2nd graders,
3. T&T for 3rd through 6th graders.

1. CUBBIES |
The Awana club for preschoolers is built on two premises:
• Young children can and should receive spiritual training.
• Home is the primary place for spiritual training.

Our preschool program meets these needs through ... FUN! ... and lots of it!

AWANA is fun with a purpose—to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand.

2. SPARKS  |
Fun Learning = Results

Sparks club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for churched and unchurched kids alike. Club meetings are divided into three segments:
• Bible teaching, worship, award presentations and the gospel message
• Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons
• Age-appropriate games on the Awana game circle

Along the way, Sparky, the friendly firefly, and his three friends have many exciting adventures. Sparky encourages kids to learn verses and complete assignments throughout the three handbooks.

3. T&T  |
The mission of the T&T Club is to answer questions about God and the Bible, guiding 3rd to 6rd graders through this pivotal life stage to grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.  This is achieved through a Biblically based curriculum that focuses on living out faith through a life of grace.

New for 2010!

T&T Ultimate Adventure Club for 3rd and 4th graders!
Adventurers will grow in biblical knowledge (Truth) and learn to serve Jesus Christ through the practice of grace and mercy in social interactions and through boldly sharing their faith (Training).

T&T Ultimate Challenge Club for 5th and 6th graders!
Awana® Clubs™ was founded to reach kids right where they were. Today, kids in these tween years (10-12) face cultural pressures, time demands and digital distractions unimaginable to previous generations. Kids in Truth & Training® are not immune. Never has the pressure been greater to conform to the world around them, and never has the world been more successful in pulling them away from faith in God’s Word.

The restructuring of Truth & Training into a program comprised of two clubs, and the refinements to handbooks, uniforms and awards, are designed to develop an identity for fifth- and sixth-graders that promotes stronger commitment, community and growth in the club. They also purpose to focus the attention of T&T™ leaders on the unique needs and challenges of this age group. Nothing is more important for these young lives than relationship with Jesus Christ. Helping them stay plugged in to T&T can go a long way to helping kids live their lives in the grace of Christ and in the knowledge of His Word.

Beginning fall 2010, clubbers in fifth or sixth grade—whether veteran clubbers or new to Awana—will start in the T&T Ultimate Challenge™ Club!
