AWANA is held on Sunday evenings from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m.
For CUBBIES: This year, we will send the Cubbies materials home to parents for the first quarter. While the other programs will be meeting outside, we believe this structure will be too difficult to maintain with preschoolers. We will have a set of materials for you to take home, including the entrance booklet, handbook, and vest. We will have time slots on subsequent Sundays for you and your Cubbie to stop by and meet the leaders and to get sections signed off. This is a work in progress, so please be flexible with us as we work through the details.
For SPARKS and T&T: We will have in-person outdoor gatherings on Sunday evenings until mid-November. We are offering 2 different options for the 1st quarter: 1) All virtual for those who cannot meet in person or 2) A hybrid of meeting in-person every other week at RBC and meeting virtually on the off weeks.
*We have a 3rd option for 6th graders who attend RBC on Wed for small group meetings. See registration form for details.
Awana is a ministry focused on providing Bible-based evangelism and discipleship materials for kids ages 4 through 6th grade at RBC. The goal of Awana is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
Because of COVID guidelines, Awana Clubs will meet on Sunday evenings from 4:30 to 5:45 p.m. from September through May.
We are still deciding on what events we will be able to facilitate in light of COVID so please bear with us as we make plans for the fall. The Awana calendar will be uploaded below once decisions are made.
*Please pay attention to the highlighted items (i.e. Fridays and Saturdays) so you don’t miss, or are late to, events or show up to an empty parking lot when we DO NOT meet.
In order to raise the next Generation to know Christ and make Him known, we need your help, we need your help. Please prayerfully consider volunteering to partner with us in raising a generation that knows Christ and makes Him known. Whether it’s your first time or you are returning for another year of ministry, it will be a great investment of your time and energy in storing up treasures in heaven “where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal” (Matthew 6:20-21 ESV).

RBC offers four clubs:
- Cubbies for 4-year-old preschoolers (3-year-olds who are two years from entering kindergarten may also participate when a parent volunteers with the AWANA program)
- Sparks for Kindergarten through 2nd graders
- T&T for 3rd through 6th graders.
- Trek for 7th through 9th graders
The Awana club for preschoolers is built on two premises:
• Young children can and should receive spiritual training.
• Home is the primary place for spiritual training.
Our preschool program meets these needs through … FUN! … and lots of it!
Awana is fun with a purpose—to reach and train kids for Jesus Christ. Games, puppets, crafts, awards and other activities transform our preschool program into a lively weekly experience where fun and learning go hand in hand. Open to 3-year olds whose parent volunteers with the Awana program and all 4-year olds.Register for Cubbies

Fun Learning = Results
Sparks club meetings combine learning with fun to create an atmosphere of irresistible excitement for churched and unchurched kids alike. Club meetings are divided into three segments:
• Bible teaching, worship, award presentations and the gospel message
• Small group interaction and completion of Bible-based lessons
• Age-appropriate games on the Awana game circle
Along the way, Sparky, the friendly firefly, and his three friends have many exciting adventures. Sparky encourages kids to learn verses and complete assignments throughout the three handbooks.
Sparks registration is closed. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please click here.

The mission of the T&T Club is to answer questions about God and the Bible, guiding 3rd to 6th graders through this pivotal life stage to grow in the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. This is achieved through a Biblically based curriculum that focuses on living out faith through a life of grace.
T&T Ultimate Adventure Club for 3rd and 4th graders!
Adventurers will grow in biblical knowledge (Truth) and learn to serve Jesus Christ through the practice of grace and mercy in social interactions and through boldly sharing their faith (Training).
T&T Ultimate Challenge Club for 5th and 6th graders!
Awana® Clubs™ was founded to reach kids right where they were. Today, kids in these tween years (10-12) face cultural pressures, time demands and digital distractions unimaginable to previous generations. Kids in Truth & Training® are not immune. Never has the pressure been greater to conform to the world around them, and never has the world been more successful in pulling them away from faith in God’s Word.
The Truth & Training program is comprised of two clubs, and the refinements to handbooks, uniforms and awards, are designed to develop an identity for fifth and sixth graders that promotes stronger commitment, community and growth in the club. Nothing is more important for these young lives than relationship with Jesus Christ. Helping them stay plugged in to T&T can go a long way to helping kids live their lives in the grace of Christ and in the knowledge of His Word.
T&T registration is closed. If you would like to be placed on a waiting list, please click here.
If you have any questions about the T&T program or have problems with the registration, please contact our T&T director: AwanaTnT@restonbible.org.
Trek & Journey
Trek is a 3-year program for Middle School students. This new program challenges students to wrestle with the three most important questions they’re asking in middle school. By allowing students to dive deep into the Scriptures and answer these questions for themselves we allow them to own their faith and discover what they believe.
His Story: This study helps middle school students understand God’s story and answers the question, “Who am I?”
His Love: This study focuses on Jesus and His ministry, as told through the Gospel of Luke and answers the question, “Why am I here?”
His People: This study focuses on biblical community as told through the book of Acts and answers the question, “Who’s with me?”
Journey establishes high school students as lifelong disciples through a deep study of God’s Word, mobilizing them to live with godly perspective and evident faith. Four complete years’ worth of material supports your 9th-12th grade high school ministry.Register for Trek or Journey
