We believe that God responds to the earnest prayers of His people.
Prayer expresses our faith in God and is a means by which our dependence on Him is made known and our trust in Him can increase. We are looking for prayer warriors who are willing to storm the gates of heaven on behalf of the body and ministries of Reston Bible Church.

We pray that Reston Bible Church will become a church of prayer and glorify God in all that we do.
A TIME OF PRAYER FOR RBC
Are you interested in praying for the RBC Elders, pastors and staff? In this time in history our leadership needs to pray for wisdom from the Lord for the road ahead. The prayer group meets the second and fourth Tuesdays each month at 6:00 p.m. at the fireplace in the lobby. If you are interested, please contact Michael Gordon at email@example.com.
WOMEN'S PRAYER GROUP - "THE 72"
You are invited to be part of a women’s prayer ministry at Reston Bible Church! According to Luke 10:1, “The Lord now chose 72 others and sent them ahead in pairs to all the towns and places he planned to visit.” We would love to see this verse come alive in our church as we pray together for upcoming church activities, RBC’s pastors, and staff. We’re looking for women to be “on call” for prayer! Members of The 72 will be notified as prayer needs arise, and may pray as the Lord leads….alone at home, in pairs, or in groups. For more information about this prayer ministry, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
MEN'S PRAYER GROUP
Every Thursday morning, men from RBC and other churches gather together by the fireplace in the lobby to pray for our churches, ministries, pastors, elders, staff, and each other. All men are welcome. A virtual option is also available. If you’d like to join us in person or via Zoom, please email Aaron Osborne at email@example.com.
TUESDAY PRAYER CALL
Join us by phone each Tuesday from 12:10 to 12:40 p.m. as we pray for RBC ministries, missionaries, pastors, elders, staff, and congregation needs, as well as what’s going on in our community, nation and world. To join, dial 605-562-8401 and use access code 9633422.
WOMEN'S PRAYER GROUP
Typically, the women’s prayer group meets Tuesday mornings at 6:30 a.m. in the Youth Building (Room Y3). All women of the RBC community are invited to join together to seek God in prayer for our church, nation, neighborhoods and families. Even if you can only come for a part of the time we encourage you to join us!
This group is currently on hold. If you have any questions, please contact Hannah Yearick at firstname.lastname@example.org.
YOUTH PARENTS PRAYER GROUP
There is a group of parents that meets between services (10:15-10:45 a.m.) in the back classroom of the Youth Building on the 2nd Sunday of every month to pray for the Jr. and Sr. High Youth Ministry. They pray for the different ministry events as well as specific students and families in need. If you are interested in participating, please contact Kris Fredericks at email@example.com.
EVENINGS OF PRAYER AND WORSHIP
About once per quarter, we gather on a weekday evening to worship the Lord in song, and to pray together to seek the Lord’s will for our church, our community, our nation, and our world.
