Quest is our weekend worship, teaching, and small group ministry for children.

This is the entry point for most of the children we minister to each weekend. Through Quest our children will receive a firm theological foundation and Christian worldview, an understanding of redemptive history, and the basics of Christian living and purpose. Various opportunities for children and their parents to serve in ministry and outreach are offered through the Quest program.

Pre-K and Kindergarten

The small groups for children ages 2 years through kindergarten are held in a more traditional “Sunday School” style setting. The children begin each weekend service in a large group setting with a time of worship in song and prayer. Our objective is to provide a safe and welcoming environment in which every child has the opportunity to be introduced to the basic truths of God’s Word. Through the teaching of a reputable curriculum that includes Bible lessons, discussion, crafts, activities, and music, we strive to establish a God-honoring environment with solid teaching, worship, and fun for your children. A small snack is provided.

Elementary

Kids in 1st thru 5th grade are introduced to the Quest large group worship service and small group ministry. The program is focused on further developing a Biblical world view and a balanced Christian walk in the areas of worship, prayer, application (Luke 6:49), defending of the faith (apologetics), service to the body, ministry, and making disciples. Topics covered include an overview of the Bible (Redemptive History), Character and Attributes of God, Christian Purpose, Spiritual Disciplines, and the “One-Anothers” of the Bible.

Child Check-In Procedure

As you enter the front of the main building, the Children’s Ministry and nursery area are to the left past the book store. If you are a regular attender you will find self-check-in stations conveniently located along the wall as you enter the Children’s Ministry area. For our visitors we have set aside two special check-in stations located at the  Children’s Ministry welcome desk. These are manned by our super helpful volunteers who will walk you through checking-in your children and help you find the appropriate classrooms.

Each child is assigned a number when they check in. If there is an issue with your child during worship services, that number will be displayed on the screens in the sanctuary. If you see your child’s number, please go to the Children’s Ministry check-in desk.

If you have a nursing infant and prefer to keep your infant with you during services, we have a “Cry Room” located just to the left of the sanctuary doors. The Cry Room is reserved for nursing mothers, children under 2 years old, and their families.
