Colossians, Part 10: Raising the Spiritual Bar
The letter to the Colossians ends with greetings and encouragement to others who are doing the work of ministry with Paul. Without these spiritual “soldiers” proclaiming the gospel and suffering for the kingdom of God, we would not be here as Christians today.
Watch / ListenColossians, Part 6: Identity in Christ
A primary tactic of the enemy, our flesh, and the fallen world is to use shreds of truth to lead us to false solutions. Only Jesus Christ has the true right, power, and authority to bestow, form, and shape our identity.
Watch / ListenThinking Matters
What we think is very powerful, but there is a problem with our thinking because our minds are not, by nature, God-worshiping minds. They are self-worshiping minds. “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace” (Romans 8:6).

Watch / ListenThe Cost of Not Following Jesus, Part 4
A cost of not following Jesus is that you will attempt to find truth, peace, and righteousness through your own self. The Sermon on the Mount reveals that none of those are possible outside of life in the kingdom of God.
Watch / ListenThe Cost of Not Following Jesus, Part 3
The kingdom of God is His universal sovereign rule over all time and all situations in all of history. A cost of not following Jesus is being outside of His kingdom and missing out on its eternal benefits.
