No matter where you are in your walk with Christ, it’s easy for the gospel to slip from the center of everyday life. In the busyness of our roles, responsibilities, and relationships, we can find ourselves “turning it off” as we move through our days, and only “turning it back on” when we pause to reflect.
Jesus gently calls us back in John 15:4: “Remain in me.” He is our source of life, rest, and renewal. His grace, freely given and deeply personal, is the breath that sustains us and brings true life to weary hearts.
Join us for a time set apart to slow down, be refreshed, and rediscover what it means to remain in Jesus and keep the gospel at the center of every moment.
You are welcome to check in any time after 4pm on Friday, April 17. (Dinner not included on Friday night.) We will begin by 7:00 p.m. on Friday night, and wrap up by 11:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. Join us as we enjoy times of learning, fellowship, and growing closer to our sisters in Christ. Space is limited. Registration closes Friday, March 13.
If you would like to discuss the need for a partial scholarship, please contact Kris (krisfredericks@restonbible.org). Contact Revathi Gopu (revathi@restonbible.org) with any other questions.

From Allison Wilks: My greatest joy is belonging to Jesus. I love the Bible and the God who has declared His glory on every page.
I am a born-and-raised Alabamian, a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have been a Bible teacher and Christian women’s event speaker for almost twenty years.
My desire and daily striving is to proclaim the gospel and point people to Jesus every time I open His Word, and every time I open my mouth!
An All-Together Event
While our RBC-W community offers many various opportunities to gather in life-stage based groups, our yearly retreat/conference is a rare opportunity for all the women of RBC to gather together and grow in Christ around the same topic.
Each year we see new friendships formed, faith deepened through gospel-centered teaching and worship, and women of all ages encouraged and strengthened.
The format rotates yearly from local conferences held at RBC, to weekend retreats (either local or within 3 hours). It is our hope that by rotating our format from local to offsite locations it eases the burden of travel and cost for those that find it difficult. We also do offer scholarships so please don’t let cost keep you from attending!
We hope you will join us for our next spring gathering! You’ll find all the information below on our last gathering so you can catch up on the sessions; and check back in early January to see the details for the next event!

Redeeming the Time
Do you keep promising yourself that you’ll be more intentional about diving into your faith? You’re not alone in this struggle! On March 28 and 29 we welcomed Allison Wilks, a seasoned teacher of the Bible, to help us gain perspective about redeeming our time. Her wisdom and insight helped us understand that we are created on purpose and for a purpose by God who has considered all of our limits and designed us to thrive.
Whether you were able to attend and want a refresh, or missed the event and want to hear the wisdom and insights Allison brought, you can listen to all our sessions at the link below.
