Relocation

Frequently Asked Questions

10. What will be the sequence of what the congregation will see and hear over the next few months?

The entire congregation is urged to attend one of the informational meetings planned for November 13th, 14th, 27th and 30th. Details about how the relocation addresses the unmet needs of RBC will be covered at these meetings, including a review of the Cascades property site and potential building schematics. Elders, staff members, pastors and volunteers familiar with the relocation will all be available during these meetings. In parallel with the meetings in the sanctuary, pastor led prayer meetings will be held on the lower floor.

The weekend services of December 8th & 9th are the kick-off of the Fund Raising Campaign. This period of 4 weeks is when we are asking you to pray and meditate on how you feel called to support the Vision, while also continuing your support of the operational needs of RBC. We will close the commitment campaign on January 6th.

The Elders will report back on the amount committed on the weekend of February 2nd & 3rd and what that amount will provide for at the new site. Work will be progressing throughout this time frame so that the elders have the best possible information to aid in their prayerful deliberations, and updates will be shared as they become available.
