Moms Connection is the place where moms with young children find friends, fun, and spiritual encouragement! We have playgroups, kid-friendly activities, fantastic speakers. We also seek to enrich the spiritual lives of our members. Moms Connection has been part of Women's Ministries at RBC for more than 15 years. As our group has grown we have had a variety of meeting venues and styles. One thing that has remained the same is our dedication to Christ and to each other. We always keep our fun focused on life's main purpose—loving, enjoying, and reverencing God!

Fellowships
Our Speaker Series this year will be “User’s Guide to Motherhood.” Motherhood didn’t come with a set of instructions. Until now.
Our kick-off Fellowship will be Friday, September 24th, from 9:30-11:30 with Linda Shoaff. For more than 20 years, Linda’s parenting classes and seminars have equipped hundreds of parents in life’s most difficult and important task–raising the next generation. Linda will share her insights into mothering, in a talk that is sure to bless the newest to most experienced mothers.
Mark your calendars for Friday, October 29th, for our first-ever Fall Festival! We’ll have games, prizes, food, and more. Free. Have fun with the kids and discover why God mandated a fall celebration! Details to come.
Join us Friday, November 19th, from 9:30-11:30 to hear Marie Hazlett share insights from her ebook “User’s Guide to Motherhood.” Marie’s popular series on motherhood is now an electronic book. Marie will address one of the chapters in her book, which includes values and priorities, building self-esteem, discipline, motivation, and letting go. Stay posted for the exact topic.
We’ll also have a Christmas Party this year! Keep posted for details.
Prayer & Care
We have a Prayer Team to pray for our ministries and each other. Prayer Team members receive a monthly email update that includes requests and praises both for the overall Moms Connection ministries and from individuals in Moms Connection who have asked for prayer.
If you’d like to become a part of the Prayer Team, please contact our Prayer and Care co-coordinator Lydia Abram (contact info below). Beginning this Fall, the Prayer Team will meet once a month to pray together as a group. (No need to attend the Prayer Team meetings to be included in the email updates.)
If you’d like to share a prayer request, please email Lydia Abram. You can also request a time of individual prayer with the Team where two or three Prayer Team Members can meet with you (at the church or a home) and pray just for you!

Our Vision
Our vision is to provide fellowship and spiritual encouragement for mothers of young children. Our vision includes four main goals:
1. To focus our hearts on Christ and to grow deeper in our personal relationship with Him.
2. To provide opportunities for moms to fellowship and build deep friendships with one another.
3. To provide practical advice, resources, and encouragement in our roles as wife and mother.
4. To be a welcoming place, where those interested in Christ would come and find Him.
Join Our Email Groups
We use RBC's internet based communication tool called CCB. If you join the email group, you can send messages to and receive messages from other mothers—such as questions on doctor recommendations, formula issues, baby items for sale, prayer requests, or other information that is pertinent to families and child raising. You will also receive email reminders about upcoming events including monthly fellowships, kid-friendly activities, and playgroups. These reminders are the fastest way for you to RSVP for our events, as well as remembering dates and times.
We have two main email Groups—one for all of Moms Connection, and one especially for Working Moms. (If you are a working mom, we recommend you join both email groups.) In order to join the email group(s), send us an email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and let us know that you are interested in joining the group.
