Esther, Part 4: For Such a Time as This
Each of us live in a “such a time as this” moment, which is today. So we must recognize our value as an instrument of God, seek to be used where we are, and be willing to lay down our lives for Christ.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS FOR SHEPHERD GROUPS
- What stood out to you in this message?
- Do you see yourself as an instrument in the hand of God? What stands in the way of this perspective?
- Is seeing yourself this way a lack of humility? Explain.
- How do you respond to the notion that when Jesus said to love your neighbor, He may have meant your actual neighbor?
- In what way do you feel God wants to use you “right where you are”?
- Prayerfully, none of us would ever be called upon to actually lay down our lives. What are the thoughts that come to mind when considering Jesus’ call to lay down our lives for others?
