Our annual missions banquet celebration will be held on Friday evening, November 7.

This is a celebration of RBC’s involvement in the Lord’s work around the world and is not a fundraiser. No mention of money or offering will take place. The banquet is open to all ages. While free childcare will be available for children up to age 5, children of all ages are welcome to attend the dinner and sessions with their parent(s).

Banquet Format

We will begin the evening with a simple dinner (Tex-Mex buffet) in the sanctuary, during which time there will be a short panel discussion with the five visiting missionaries. After dinner, from 7:00 to 8:30PM, every 30 minutes for three sessions, you will visit a room where you will hear a presentation from one of our visiting missionaries regarding their ministry and country. You will be able to choose which room sessions you desire to visit on the registration form and are able to choose which three presenters you want to visit. In addition to learning about the ministry, you will sample a dessert from that country/region.

At 8:30, we will regather in the sanctuary for a time of worship and end the evening at 9:00.

As in every year, we encourage you to wear international clothing, but know that you will be walking from room to room and sampling dessert on your laps, so dress comfortably.

Cost is $10.00 per person with a maximum of $30.00 per family. Families are encouraged to attend and it is open to all ages. There is free childcare for children up to age 5 if you prefer not have them attend the room sessions.
