Chris is the son of two generations of West Point graduates on his father’s side, and a Naval Academy grandfather on his mother’s side. The oldest of four children in a military family, Chris had lived in six states by age 13 when his family moved to the Maryland suburbs of Washington, DC. It was in high school in Maryland that Chris first met Deedee, who was later to become his beloved bride. He holds a B.A. from Oberlin College, and a master’s degree in architecture from Harvard University.
In spite of growing up active in his local church, it was not until he heard a clear presentation of the gospel in his early 30s that he finally understood his need for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Convicted of that need, he received Christ having heard and finally understood the free gift of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
Chris and his wife Deedee lead a shepherd group in their home in Ashburn, and has served on the Elder Council since the Spring of 2003.
Chris is a managing director at LaSalle Investment Management, an international real estate advisory firm, where he heads North American acquisition due diligence and serves as global sustainability officer.
Chris and Deedee live in Ashburn, and have three children — Catherine, Christopher, and Charles.
