Thanks to the generosity of the RBC body, our church has been able to help fund Bible translation to several people groups who previously had little to no Scripture in their native heart language.
Current Project
We are once again partnering with The Seed Company to fund the translation of the book of John for the Zapoteco Las Delicias people who occupy their traditional homeland in the state of Oaxaca, Mexico. This will be the first portion of scripture translated into the Las Delicias language.
For $35 a verse, we are hoping to sponsor all 879 verses in the book of John. To participate, you can donate with cash, check, or by donating online. (Be sure to select Imagine Zero – Zapoteco Las Delicias as your giving designation online or include that in the memo line of your check.)
Thank you in advance for providing the Word of God that brings hope, peace, freedom, and purpose in life through Jesus!
About Imagine Zero
Imagine Zero is an initiative to end Bible poverty around the world. Of the approximate 7,000 known languages in the world, about 2,200 remain without a single word of Scripture. This represents over 2,000 people groups—over 165 million people—that do not have a single Bible verse in a language they can understand. The Seed Company currently works with over 120 partner organizations and 1,555 local ministries and churches to help bring God’s Word to the Bibleless. By 2025, it is anticipated that for all 2,000 people groups, translation will have begun in some portion of Scripture in their heart language.
“I do not ask on behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; that they may all be one; even as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be in Us, so that the world may believe that You sent Me.”
Jesus, John 17:20-21
