SUMMARY:Parent-Teen Whitewater Rafting
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 12\, the Youth Ministry will host a whitewater rafting trip on the Youghiogheny River in Ohiopyle State Park\, Pennsylvania\, for our parents and their Junior High and Senior High teens!\nCost is $70 per person and includes: \n\nAll Transportation\nLunch\nWhitewater Rafting gear – life jacket\, helmet\, paddle\n\nMeet at the RBC Youth Building parking lot at 5:45 a.m. sharp. We will travel by coach bus\, so sleep can continue for those who need a little more! It takes just over 3 hours to get to the river outfitter. There we will get our gear and be taken to the launch area with our guides. We plan to be on the river for 4 or 5 hours\, depending upon the water level. There will be a lunch stop on the river. After the day on the river\, we will have a chance to freshen up and change before getting back on the bus. We will head off to a dinner stop together and plan to return to the RBC parking lot by 9:00 p.m. It will be a full day\, but one with several planned and many unplanned moments for us to enjoy as we get to know one another better. \nRegistration will remain open until the trip fills up or the deadline of April 22. \nYou will need to bring river clothing and shoes that can get wet\, a towel and a change of clothing for the return trip\, money for your own dinner\, and a spirit of adventure! \nRegister here
