SUMMARY:2026 Men's Retreat
DESCRIPTION:A spiritual battle rages within us. Christ came to set us free.\nFor I do not understand what I am doing; for I am not practicing what I want to do\, but I do the very thing I hate. (Romans 7:15). \nEver found yourself doing the very things you know you shouldn’t do\, while struggling to do what you know is right? This is the battle Paul describes in Romans 7:15 – a conflict every man knows all too well. The good news is that Christ did not leave us trapped in that cycle. Join us for the 2026 Men’s Retreat with Rod Handley as we explore “Breaking the Law” and discover God’s purpose for the Old Testament law and Christ’s victory over the power of sin. Through biblical teaching\, practical application\, and insight from Galatians 5\, we’ll learn how to live by the Spirit to display the character of Christ – not through our own effort\, but through His power at work within us. Come be challenged\, equipped\, and inspired to become the kind of man whose life points others to the Jesus he faithfully follows and serves \nJoin us for our annual Men’s Retreat October 2-4\, 2026 at Meadowkirk Conference and Retreat Center in Middleburg\, Virginia\, only a 40-minute drive from Sterling.\nOne of the great benefits of the retreat is the opportunity to meet and connect with other brothers in Christ. So join the men of RBC\, CFC and other churches in Northern Virginia for a weekend of great messages\, reflection\, relaxation and an opportunity to grow closer to our Lord and Savior. The enemy wants to keep Christian men like you in isolation\, forgetting we are new creatures in Christ. God did not intend for us to walk alone. Christ came to radically transform our lives and the lives of those around us. Whether it’s in our families\, with co-workers\, or friends\, Christ wants to use you to reflect and share Him with others. How? Attend the retreat\, learn from others\, and be encouraged. \nRegister here\nAbout the Speaker\n \nRod Handley is the Founder and President of Character That Counts\, a ministry that was established in July 2000.
