SUMMARY:Dad and Kids Campout
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a weekend of bonfires\, sleeping under the stars\, and just plain fun! This event is open to dads\, granddads\, uncles\, father figures\, and their kids of all ages!\nThe Dad & Kids Campout will be held at CAMP WILLIAM B. SNYDER\, June 5-7\, 2026. The adventures are great and small with all the group games\, campfire-songs\, hot dog and marshmallow roast\, and Sunday morning worship. It’s a special opportunity to disconnect from daily distractions\, create lifelong memories with your kids\, and get to know other dads at RBC. This Campout is perfect for first time campers. Dads and kids of all ages are welcome! \nRegister here\nIf you have questions\, please contact Noah Smith at noahsmith@restonbible.org. \nGeneral Information\nArrival time at CAMP WILLIAM B. SNYDER is up to you\, campsites are available after 2:00 p.m. on Friday for setup but it’s much easier to set up a tent in daylight! We’d encourage you to arrive at the group camping area by 7:00 p.m. on Friday. \nConsider “teaming” with other campers at your campsite to coordinate meals\, e.g. splitting up responsibilities of each meal or dividing the food/shopping list. Each site is provided covered picnic tables\, a fire ring with grill\, and is in close proximity to restrooms with hot showers. \nThe full schedule\, full what to bring list\, and additional details will be sent to registered campers at least one week out. Here are a few of the key items to bring: tent\, camp chairs\, sleeping bags\, flashlights or lantern\, ice chest\, food\, grilling supplies\, paper and plastic ware. Since we will assign multiple families at each campsite\, all families will have access to camp stoves\, hot coffee\, and well-equipped campers. \nCamp Schedule\n\n\n\n\nFriday\, June 5\n\n\n\n12:00 – 8:30 p.m.\nArrive and set up camp (Dinner on your own)\n\n\n8:30 p.m.\nGlow sticks fun time – Parade Field or family campfire time\n\n\n\nSaturday\, June 6\n\n\n\n\nBreakfast at your site\n\n\n10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.\nOrganized field day activities – Parade Field\, Dad Devotional at outside Pavilion\n\n\n12:00 – 4:00 p.m.\nLunch at your site / Dad and kids free time\n\n\n4:00 p.m.\nDad/Kid craft making outside the Dining Hall\n\n\n6:00 p.m.\nDinner at your site\n\n\n7:00 p.m.\nTalent show and s’mores at Main Campfire/Outdoor Amphitheater\n\n\n9:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.\nGlow sticks fun time – Parade Field or family campfire time\n\n\n\nSunday\, June 7\n\n\n\n\nBreakfast at your site\n\n\n9:00 a.m.\nGroup Worship Service – Main Campfire/Outdoor Amphitheater\n\n\n10:00 – 11:00 a.m.\nBreakdown/clean up group sites: Campfire/Outdoor Amphitheater & Parade Field\n\n\n11:00 a.m.\nCampout concludes; depart Camp Snyder
