DESCRIPTION:You are invited to join us on Sunday\, April 7\, for An Evening with Alisa Childers from 6:30 to 8:15 p.m.\nHaving experienced a crisis of faith in her 30s\, Alisa Childers’ story touches on the struggles of many today whose faith is being shipwrecked by cultural assertions of subjective truth\, the growing trend of spiritual deconstruction and the unbiblical influence of progressive Christianity. Whether those are new terms to you\, you know someone currently working through issues of faith and doubt\, or you are on the cusp of a faith crisis yourself\, we invite you to join us for this unique evening. \nAlisa and Pastor Michael Greene will lead us in worship featuring some of Alisa’s newest music\, and Pastor Jim Supp will dialogue with Alisa regarding faith\, doubt\, deconstruction\, and progressive Christianity. She is the author of three books\, including The Deconstruction of Christianity: What it is\, Why it’s Destructive\, and How to Respond. She was a member of the award-winning CCM recording group ZOEgirl. She is currently a respected speaker at apologetics and women’s conferences\, as well as the host of The Alisa Childers Podcast and her YouTube channel. Alisa’s story was featured in the documentary American Gospel: Christ Crucified. She has been published at The Gospel Coalition\, Crosswalk.com\, The Stream\, For Every Mom\, Decision Magazine\, and The Christian Post.
