WHAT IS COUNTERPOINT?
Counterpoint is the Young Adults group at Reston Bible Church, and it is open to singles from age 22 through early 30s.
We desire to provide a safe place where people can gather and be able to explore, ask questions and discover more and more of the love of Christ in the context of being in community with His people. It is our intent to allow the Spirit of God to transform our lives.
Counterpoint meets on Sunday in Room 250A at 12:15 p.m. (after the second service) and consists of an hour of worship, prayer, teaching by various speakers from within the church, and interactive discussion.
Then we usually sit around small tables of about 5-7 people at a table and some teaching from the Word of God is presented in a very interactive and casual format. Often there is time taken where each table discusses questions around the subject matter brought out by the teaching.
Lots of community and fellowship occurs after the meeting is over and you are encouraged to continue your fellowship over lunch at a local restaurant!
People from within Counterpoint often organize social and community service events which provide even more opportunity to experience the body of Christ together.
