In his Christmas message, Pastor Minter examines the roles of Joseph, Mary, and Elizabeth as they prepared for the coming of the Christ-child.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS FOR SHEPHERD GROUPS
  1. Which character in the Christmas story do you most relate to? Are there any you look at differently after this week's sermon?
  2. Choose a Christmas hymn (or two), and "ponder" the theology behind the lyrics.
  3. Read Luke 1:46-55 -- the "Magnificat" -- and discuss some of the truths about God that Mary proclaims. Can you praise God like this in your own heart?
  4. How can you use this Christmas season to share with unbelieving friends and family the miracle of Christ's birth, His redemptive mission, and the way of salvation?
