There are tons of ways to serve at RBC. Here are a few ministres that are always looking for extra help:
Kids

-VBS will take place July 16 - 20, and registration for our "Incredible Race" has already begun. We are still in need of volunteers for several key positions and we can't do it without you. VBS is a special time of ministry - one you'll never forget! The following positions are available:
- Preschool Crafts Station
- Preschool Bible Activity Station (indoor games/activities)
- Preschool Class (for children of volunteers)
- Nursery (for children of volunteers)

-Teaching and Small Group Leader positions are now available to lead our 2 year olds through 5th graders for the summer months. Vacation plans? No problem! Substitutes are provided. Join the team and be an important part of training up the next generation. Visit us at the Welcome Desk in Herring Hall, pick up a form from one of the ministry walls and place it in an offering box, or contact Eugene Catedral.
Junior High

Bulletin
We are looking for volunteers to come in on Friday mornings to help collate the bulletin. The amount of time required to collate the bulletin varies week to week. Bookstore
We are looking for a few volunteers to assist in the bookstore between the services. No training is needed as we now have available a synopsis of each book in the bookstore, provided by Dave and Becky Waldrup. This will be an invaluable aid to anyone helping in the bookstore as well as for those who are not sure which book to purchase. Sermon Recording
We are in need of some volunteers to record and duplicate sermons at the weekend services (we record the Saturday night service and the 10am Sunday service). If you regularly attend either of those services and would like to volunteer, please contact Paul Beck at pabeck@gmail.com. Basic computer knowledge is required, and specific training is provided.
Media Center
The downstairs Media Center provides copies of past and current sermon series and teachings in CD and cassette tape format. It is open for 15-20 minutes after each of the weekend worship services. If you would be willing to stay after the service you regularly attend 1-2 weekends a month to staff the Media Center, please contact Travis Larkin at tlarkin@mideosystems.com. Training is provided.
Ushers
We are currently in need of several men to usher during the 11:00 service. Duties include assisting in handing out bulletins, seating people and directing visitors to children’s ministry/cry room, etc. If you are interested in helping in this important ministry and sense the Lord is calling you to serve in this capacity, please contact Erik Palmer at 703-478-9730 or erikpalmer@restonbible.org.
