As you may know, RBC has two funds set aside to help people who are struggling financially. Both funds are solely supported by your designated gifts. The Benevolent Fund helps those who regularly worship here at RBC, while the Needy Fund ministers to folks in the community who do not attend RBC. The latter includes a number of homeless individuals who live close to our main campus. Currently, Both our Benevolent and needy funds are low. Since the discontinuance of our Food Bank, we have seen an increase in the number of people asking for help. We also expect increased requests for help with heating homes during the winter months. We are asking that you prayerfully consider helping build up our Needy and Benevolent Funds in preparation for the winter months ahead. If you choose to help minister to the poor around us as Galatians 2:10 implores, please simply write “Needy” on the memo line of your check.
