Stateside Missions at RBC is defined as those who serve in the continental 48 States and minister to those in the geographical area around them. RBC currently supports 13 local mission ministries including Crisis Pregnancy Centers, jail ministries, local church plants, and college campus ministries.

MINISTRIES SUPPORTED BY RBC:

•    Fairfax County Jail Ministry – headed by Chaplan Bill Whitmore. He coordinates all the religious activity at the jail.  He personally visits inmates in their cells and treaches Bible Studies throughout the week.  In July he saw 16 inmates come to the Lord.

•    Manassas Arabic Church – Sam Sadek pastors an arabic speaking church in Manassas, VA.  Manassas Baptist Church is providing space for this growing congregation.  Sam, an Arabic speaking pastor, received most of his training in the Middle East with Campus Crusade for Christ.

•    Campus Crusade for Christ Coordinator – Jill Johnson works with the local youth in Florida as well as the rest of the United States coordinating ministry trips to Southeast Asia.

•    Laos Church – Pat and Robin Kearney have been minsitering in a number of Laotian Churches in Northern Virginia for the past 20 years.  They work through the mission agency Pioneers.  Prior to this they were foreign missionaries in Bangkok, Thailand.  Pat came to the Lord in the mid-seventies while shining shoes with Mike Minter at Reston Country Club.

•    James Madison University  - Brandon and Lindsay Spurlock work with the Campus Crusade for Christ ministry at JMU.  Since they have not been able to raise 100% of their support CCC has restricted the amount of ministry they are allowed to do on campus until their support is completed.

•    Fellowship of Christian Athletes – Robbie and Liz Gwinn work with FCA at Western Fairfax County schools.  Robbie has been able to make headway into a number of the Junior High and High School athletic teams in Western Fairfax.

•    CCC Military Ministry – Chuck and Karen Macri are located in Newport News, VA and coordinate the Military Mission outreach with CCC.  The response that CCC has received at Basic Training Bases nationwide has been remarkable.  The number of decisions for Christ at these training facilities in the last couple of years has been in the thousands.

•    Sanctity of Life Ministries – Kelly Wesley is the Director of SLM in Fairfax, VA.  This ministry assists women and men with pregnancy issues.  Although these issues vary from case to case the ministry goal of presenting the Gospel never varies.

•    Connecting Busniess Men to Christ (CBMC) – John Endlich, an RBC attendee, is the Metro Director for the greater DC connection.  CBMC exists to present Jesus Christ as Savior to business and professional men and then to develop them to carry out the great commission.  Throughout the Washington DC area a growing number of men are meeting weekly and monthly in small CBMC sponsored groups to carry out this mission.

•    YoungLife Loudoun – YoungLife is ministering in a number of Loudoun County High Schools.  YL meets weekly at morning Bible Studies before school, has opportunities during the school day on campuses, and hosts weekly evening meetings.

•    United States Naval Academy -  C.W. Faulkner represents Campus Crusade for Christ at USNA.  Due to his residence being three blocks formn the Academy yard many Midshipmen, who are not allowed vehicles, walk to meetings at his home.  The weekly meetings have grown to over 40 Mids.

•    Navigators Metro Director – Chris Mogensen is Navigators Director for all the ministries in the Metropolitan DC area. These ministries vary from inner city DC to suburban minsitries around the city.

•    University of Maryland – Andrew and Karlayne Powars, after finishing a successful college ministry at Radford University were transferred to the University of Maryland with Campus Crusade for Christ.  Their task at UMD was to start a campus ministry.  After one year the ministry has grown.
