One of God's best means to teach us about Himself is through the gift of marriage. Designed by God, marriage was meant to be one of His greatest blessings to us as we travel life's journey. In today's fast paced environment, however, it's easy for husband and wife to grow distant from one another. Pressures from work, family struggles, financial challenges, and a host of other issues drive a wedge between couples.

RBC is committed to helping couples stay connected, build, and strengthen their marriage. We conduct marriage oriented events throughout the year.

Fall and Winter Marriage Boosters

These are fun Friday date nights where couples go out to dinner and discuss questions provided in advance on a particular topic. Couples return to RBC to listen to a message on that topic and then participate in a small group, round table discussion of the message. These small group discussion times are traditional favorites as couples get to hear perspectives from other husbands and wives varying in number of years married.

Spring Overnight Marriage Conference

In late April, early May of each year RBC holds an overnight Marriage Conference.

A special deal is arranged with a nearby hotel, so couples can get away if they wish from the distractions at home. Theme oriented messages followed by small group, round table discussions are held Friday night and Saturday at RBC. Practical tools and suggestions are offered to enable couples to apply the lessons God has laid on their heart. nThe overnight conference is a great way for couples to invest in their marriage and make it a priority.

Deeper Dive Marriage Study Group

For those couples interested in a deeper dive on the topic presented at a Booster or Conference, RBC offers a 3-5 week follow-up in the form of a weekly study on Sunday mornings. These one-hour meetings commence the week after the Booster or Conference and are split between message and small group discussion. Here couples have the chance to learn and consolidate practical applications to issues they're facing while building relationships with other couples.


Marriage is like a garden. It takes work to build and regular tending to keep it functioning and attractive. If not regularly attended weeds can overrun a garden in short order.
