AWANA POWER-UP

Swimmers practice laps. Gymnasts weight train. Runners sprint. Christians memorize God’s Word. That’s what AWANA PowerUP is all about—getting as much of God’s Word as we can, as deep into hearts as we can, of as many children as we can.

Starting September 16, 2007, all Awana clubs will meet Sundays, from 5:00-7:00pm at the main campus. To register your child(ren) or volunteer, download the form linked at the bottom of this page.

MORE ABOUT AWANA | Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” (taken from 2 Timothy 2:15). It is a non-denominational, international ministry that emphasizes evangelism and Christian growth in children.

Along with playing fun games, singing, and being challenged by guest speakers, children work through Scripture memorization handbooks. There are also outings and activities planned throughout the year. Our club serves as an excellent opportunity for children to build friendships and for families to grow closer to one another. Our goal is for Awana be used as a forum to present the Gospel clearly to children. Flowing from that goal, we challenge and encourage kids to establish a daily walk with the Lord. The handbooks are an excellent tool for parents to use with their children as they study and memorize Scripture.
