Would you be willing to hang some blinds, change a lock, repair a faulty door, move a heavy object, fix a leaky sink, do yard work or some other household repair for a needy brother or sister in Christ? If yes, Helping Hands could use your help!
What is Helping Hands?
A ministry of RBC dedicated to serving the local and RBC communities through home maintenance and repair projects.
In what ways does Helping Hands serve?
We serve in two main categories:
1) We assist with home maintenance needs on an ongoing basis.
2) We also assist local organizations with similar home repair objectives. A few examples include: “Transformers”-- a short-term mission to renovate the homes of low-income families in Virginia, Habitat For Humanity, Rebuilding Together (formerly Christmas in April), etc.
Whom does Helping Hands serve?
Single parents, the elderly, or anyone who is genuinely in need of this type of service.
Must I be skilled to volunteer?
Absolutely not! We’re looking for volunteers of all skill levels...those who simply have a heart to serve, to those who are highly skilled.
If I volunteer, how often will I be called upon to help?
It’s up to you. Sign up for as much or as little as you feel led to serve.

Your help and prayers are appreciated!
This is a volunteer-based ministry. We have many home maintenance needs within the church body alone so if you’re willing to help, at any level, we can use you!
