Retreat Location

Rock Mountain Bible Camp - Located in north central Pennsylvania on a 235-acre campus with great facilities including a gym, game room, tubing hill, and much more. Emergency #570-756-2200. Skiing and snowboarding is close by on Elk Mountain.

Departure and Return Times

Students must arrive at the Reston Bible Church parking lot no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 17, 2012.

Parents must pick up their students at the RBC parking lot at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 20. An email will be sent if the return time changes.

Cancellations

Any cancellations after January 16 will forfeit $50 of their registration cost for camp.

What to bring

Winter clothes, including snow boots, sleeping bag, pillow, towel, toiletries, shower shoes, Bible, pen, flashlight, money for 3 meals, & extra change for lockers at the ski lodge.

What NOT to bring

Please do not bring anything that could endanger anyone or could be lost, stolen, or broken. Do not bring any electronics (including cell phones), cigarettes, drugs, knives, or prank supplies. If a student brings any of these things, we will take & hold the items until we return back from camp & parents will be asked to come into the office to pick them up.

Retreat Speaker: Mike Reed

Mike Reed has grown up through the youth ministry here at Reston Bible and later went on to be the Youth Pastor at McLean Bible (Loudoun Campus) for over 6 years.  He and his wife are currently working on a church planting team up in the North East area. Mike comes to us with a northern Virginia perspective having grown up here & knowing what teens in this area face, & presents God’s truth to our area’s culture in a relevant way.
