Promotion

The year begins and ends on Promotion Weekend (the weekend following Labor Day). Children are placed by birth date or grade and remain there all year, even in the summer months, regardless of their turning a year older.

Discipline

Participation in RBC Children’s Ministry programs is a privilege. All discipline issues will be handled on a three strikes basis:

  1. Child is corrected by their group leader.
  2. Child is sent out of the class for time out with the Ministry Director
  3. The child’s parents will be paged. If a child consistently disrupts classes, their privilege may be revoked at the discretion of the Ministry Director.

Infants & Toddlers

A snack consisting of a graham cracker and water is provided to toddlers. No additional food or milk is allowed to be consumed or carried in the nursery. This is due to allergy restrictions. All items (diaper bags, etc.) that parents drop off with their children should be clearly marked with the child's name.
