SEVENTWENTYFOUR hosted a series on August 7, 14, & 21 called The Diminished God.

The nature of God's character IS. It cannot be changed. It cannot be corrupted. Who God is does not change or alter in light of how we view Him. Thus He is truly, resoundingly, and forever "the great I AM," and thus is it imperative that we know Him for who He is - not merely for who we want Him to be.

There are constant movements both within and without evangelical Christianity that move away from the revealed knowledge of who God is. One such movement currently rising within Christianity is the "openness" view of God, or Open Theism.

This series will examine the claims of Open Theism in light of Scripture and determine if this new view of God is really God at all.
