The Women’s Ministry endeavors to provide opportunities for all RBC
women to form relationships with each other that encourage them in their
daily walk with the Lord. This past year over 200 women participated in
small groups centered on Bible study and/or mentoring. Approximately 160
women attended our annual retreat in March.

Along with small groups, we offer specific groups for moms, through Moms
Connection, which provides fellowship and spiritual encouragement to
women with young children. Moms’ monthly Morning Fellowships are an
opportunity to meet new moms, connect with friends, hear from fabulous
speakers and discuss relevant topics in small groups.

We also offer Growing in Grace groups. These groups consist of one older
woman and four or five younger women who meet on a once or twice
monthly basis. The purpose is to provide an opportunity for older women
to guide and encourage younger women who want to develop godly
character.

“Damas” is another offering of the Women’s Ministry; it is a Bible study and
support group offered to Hispanic women where Christian background is
required.

Looking ahead, a new ministry called “Living The Passion” begins in
September and will include personal testimonies and biblical teaching about
what the Christian life can look like. We hope many women will use this
as an outreach opportunity and invite their friends and neighbors to attend.
One of our goals for the coming year is to provide more opportunities for
women to gather together in prayer.

for announcements concerning volunteer needs and upcoming events.
