Our desire is to see everyone growing in Christ by actively participating
in a healthy Shepherd Group. Through the close relationships that will
develop in Shepherd Groups, we will love, encourage, care for, pray for
and comfort one another. Together we will grow in the knowledge of the
Word and in obedience to our Lord. Together we will be molded into the
image of our Lord. Together we will know Him more deeply, know the
power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings. Together
we worship Him. Our goal is to be a light to our neighbors and to the
nations and we will be the body that God wants us to be.

With a newly developed “Philosophy of Ministry” defining the values of a
healthy Shepherd Group, we are looking forward to training new leaders
this fall and launching new groups on an ongoing basis. Currently there
are 30 Shepherd Groups which connect 30% of our adult body. We
would like to see 50% of the body connected to Shepherd Groups by the
end of the year. It is our desire to see all adults in our body participating
in a healthy Shepherd Group.

With much to be done and much that could be done, we are looking for
God to raise up additional leaders, motivate His body to connect to a
group, and raise up volunteers to help with moving this ministry forward.
