RBC has helped a large number of people over the past year through
our Needy & Benevolent ministries. We process several requests each
week to help families and individuals both within our own body and in
the surrounding communities. We provide practical assistance through
appropriate means with anything from gas and food to basic living
expenses. Recipients are thoroughly screened to confirm that the needs
are legitimate, and the gospel is clearly shared with those who may not
yet know the Lord.

THE NEEDY FUND / The purpose of the Needy Fund at Reston Bible
Church is to demonstrate Christ’s love in practical ways primarily to people
outside of RBC’s congregation. The Needy Fund provides financial and
material assistance as appropriate to those in need, along with a clear
gospel witness. For the 2007 calendar year, we have provided $26,225
in financial help to needy families and individuals in the surrounding
communities.

THE BENEVOLENT FUND / Our Benevolent Fund is set aside to
specifically help members of our congregation who have financial burdens
due to job loss, health problems, or other extenuating circumstances. In
the 2007 calendar year we have provided $26,200 in financial help to
people here in our congregation.
