The Special Services at Reston Bible Church have assisted many believers
through significantly joyous and deeply sorrowful parts of their lives this past
year. This ministry includes Believer’s Baptism, Weddings, and Funeral or
Memorial Services.

Baptism Services at RBC were reformatted three years ago, and since then
there has been great joy in seeing 110 believers baptized. The new format
includes a celebration reception and has been a huge blessing to all who
participate and attend.

Our wedding coordinators have assisted a total of nineteen RBC couples in
getting married at RBC or elsewhere over the past two years, with eleven
couples in 2006 and eight couples in 2007. A number of exciting new
resources are now available through the Wedding ministry including the
wedding warehouse, recommended reading, and vendor resources.
In 2006, five RBC families were comforted and encouraged through the
funeral or memorial service of their loved one here at the church.

Our hope is that the RBC Special Services ministry will assist the
our congregation in a way that brings much glory to God and loving
encouragement to all those involved.
